One of the main distinguishing factors between Traktor and Virtual DJ is that the former's sound effect sound better and more real compared to the latter's effects. Former devoted traktor user who transitioned to Pioneer. Yes, there is quite a spectrum of creativity possible with the Traktor platform, but I would honestly ask yourself how much you're really going to dig into those features, AND if you are a DJ who plays gigs regularly, are you going to use those features when you're playing out? If that's Electro house, go with pioneer, you don't need Traktor to launch drop after drop. All the EDM "DJs" use a pair of CDJ, cause they simply don't need more. XDJ-RX would be 100% sufficient there IMHO. Last edited: Feb 18, 2016.

2011-12-16 · Pioneer DJM400 Audio 8 Kontrol X1 Traktor Scratch Pro 2 Thinking of buying an S4 but really dont know the pro's and con's between an S4 and CDJ's. Im a bedroom DJ who plays out occasionally so the main reason i DJ is to have fun and i absolutely love the constant progression of Digital dj'ing.

I appreciate the support Traktor HID vs Rekordbox USB sound quality So I've been using Traktor HID with the CDJ2000/NXS for a few years now and quite happy about it.
